RONNIE GILREATH July 8, 1945 - February 22, 2007ANDERSON, SCMr. Ronald Clyde Gilreath, age 61, husband of Joyce Gilreath of 505 McClure Road, Anderson, SC, died Thursday, February 22, 2007 at his residence.Born in Anderson, SC on July 8, 1945, Mr. Gilreath was a son of the late Guy Gilreath and Fannie Ruth Massey Gilreath. He was the owner and operator of R & K Fence Company and served in the United States Army. He was a devoted member of Temple Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife, Joyce, of the home; children, Tonya Burriss and her husband, Damon, Brad Luper and his wife, Kelly and Bryan Luper and his wife, Shannon, all of Anderson, SC; sisters, Nancy Smith of Anderson, SC, Annette Martin of Travelers Rest, SC and Bertie Lou Meredith of Fair Play, SC; brothers, Donnie Gilreath, Wib Gilreath, John Gilreath and Rev. Guy Overcash, all of Anderson, SC and Larry Gilreath of Belton, SC. Four grandchildren, Kevin, Carson, Noah and Carly Luper and one grandson to be born in two months, Talen Burriss also survive.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Doug Gilreath.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2007 at 2:30 pm at Temple Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Larry Pearson and Rev. Ray Martin. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Claude Dykes and Rev. Gordon Taylor officiating.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday, February 24, 2007 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.The family will be at the residence.Flowers are optional.
