RONALD JORDAN September 18, 1941 - July 9, 2007ANDERSON, SCMr. Ronald Eugene Jordan, age 65 of 126 Harmony Road, Anderson, SC, husband of the late Donna Gentry Jordan, died Monday, July 9, 2007 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC on September 18, 1941, Mr. Jordan was a son of the late Homer Sanford Jordan and Lillie Mae Bannister Jordan. He was employed with Hydro Aluminum in Belton. He was a graduate of Boys' High School and a member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple.Survivors include two sons, Russell Jordan and his wife, Tommi and Kevin Jordan and his wife, Danna, all of Anderson; daughter, Melanie Allen and her husband, Chad of Anderson; brothers, Harry Jordan of Alpharetta, GA and Tommy Jordan of Anderson; sisters, Margaret Buchanan, Laura Vaughn and Mary Singleton, all of Anderson; six grandchildren and a cousin, Bill Fuller.In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Pat Porter, Bobbie Jordan and Kathleen Williams.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Gethsemane Baptist Temple with the Reverend Sam Duncan officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Anderson.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
