Dr. Ronald Harrison Littlefield, Sr., of Spartanburg, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023. He was a graduate of The Citadel and the Medical University of South Carolina. He served for over forty years as a noninvasive cardiologist in the Spartanburg medical community and was loved by many. Surviving are his loving wife, Teresa Taylor Littlefield; his children, Marti Littlefield Hammond (Jay) of Anderson, Amber Casey Fowler (Justin) of Greenville and Justin Neil Casey of Chattanooga, TN; six grandchildren, Brittany Duncan Durham (Nick) of Charleston, Tyler Duncan (Merena) of Columbia, Caitlin Madison Duncan of Charleston, Aniston, Pearse and Harrison Fowler of Greenville; his sister, Tobi Littlefield Grubbs of Woodruff; and two nieces of Charleston. He is predeceased by daughter, Dr. Rhonda Littlefield Duncan of Anderson; son, Ronald Harrison Littlefield, Jr. of Spartanburg; and parents, Hughell Frederick Littlefield, and Wilma Gardner Littlefield of Woodruff. The family plans to honor his memory with a private family service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
