Ronald Scripp, age 88, of Anderson, SC, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born January 28, 1934, in Kempton, MD, he was the son of the late Tony F. Scripp and Mary Y. Kuhn Scripp. Ronald was the owner of John's Barber Shop in Bel Air, MD for many years. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Korean Conflict as an airman 3rd class. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans in Anderson and the American Legion Post 121 in Williamston. He is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte Jean Carr Scripp; daughters, Kathleen Jo Shinholser (Robert) of Lexington, GA, and Rhonda Lea Bond (Randy) of St. Maries, ID; brother, Tony Scripp, Jr. (Marian) of Bayard, WV; sisters, Ramona Adams of Cleveland, OH, and Kathy Pelle of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren, Dustin Shinholser (Catherine), Nick Bond, and Hillary Bond; and great grandchildren, Benjamin and Addison Shinholser. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jeffrey and Christopher Scripp; and sister, Sandra Huffman.
