Ronnie Rahe, passed away peacefully at Rainey Hospice House on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, after succumbing to multiple chronic health issues. He was in the arms of his life-long love, high-school sweetheart, and wife Sara Ann Rahe. Ronnie was raised in Blacksburg, Virginia, and later Anderson, SC. He earned a degree in Civil Engineering and forged a career as an independent business owner. Ronnie adored his niece, Laura, and 5 grandchildren and he took pride in holding them first-born, showing them the stars, cheering for them, and hauling them around behind his lawn mower. He was affectionate to his family and loyal to his friends. Ronnie loved to laugh, tell stories, learn about the world, and make people feel good about themselves- strangers and loved ones alike. He is preceded in death by parents Robert Rahe and Louise Mast. He is survived by his wife, Sara Ann Rahe; sister Diane Rahe; niece Laura Ong; step-daughters Katherine Lander, Rachael Van Dam, and Hailey Amick. Additionally, he is survived by grandchildren Elise Amick, Dorian Amick, Axel Lander, Kiran Lander, and Finnegan Van Dam. Per Ronnie's request, there will not be a funeral service, but a celebration of life will be held in the months to come.
