ANDERSON, SC'Mr. Ross Alton Crowe, age 80, widower of Rena Belle Moore Crowe, of 303 Timber Lane, Anderson, SC died on Friday, February 3, 2006 at his residence.Born on March 29, 1925 in Hartwell, GA, Mr. Crowe was a son of the late John Crowe and the late Janna Richardson Crowe. He retired from Singer-Ryobi Company and was a World War II Veteran having served in the United States Navy. He was also of the Baptist faith.Mr. Crowe is survived by two daughters, Sarah Shirley Phillips and her husband, Joe Edward Phillips of Hartwell, GA and Alice Dale Crowe of Anderson, SC and one son, Reverend Randy Alton Crowe and his wife, Gail Crowe of Colbert, GA; two brothers, B.D. Crowe of Anderson, SC and Roger Crowe of Woodville, FL; three sisters, Janna Carroll, Elaine Wolf, and Hazel Rampey all of Anderson, SC; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Crowe was preceded in death by a brother; two sisters; and two great-grandchildren.
