ROY WILLIAM CASH April 7, 1927 - October 30, 2007Mr. Roy William Cash, age 80, husband of Alice Land Cash of 103 Baker Street, formerly of Hartwell, GA, died Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.Born in Mount Dora, Florida on April 7, 1927, Mr. Cash was a son of the late Russell G. Cash and Eula Jane Stovall Cash. He was formerly employed as an electrician at Daniel Construction and was an avid golfer. He was a United States Navy and Air Force veteran having served during World War II in Okinawa.Survivors include his wife of the home; sons, Kenneth Younes of Crofton, MD, Bill Cash of Arab, AL, Russell Cash of Demorest, GA; daughter, Laura Cash Hart of Carnesville, GA; step-son, Keith Land; step-daughters, Kay Hergenrother, Jane Coleman and Sue Strickland; six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Cash and sisters, Opal Ray and Doris Fagen.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, November 2, 2007 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.A private family service will be held at later date.A message of condolence may be sent to the family by visitingwww.mcdougaldfuneralhome.comThe McDougald Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
