Roy Junior Garrett, age 74, of Belton, SC, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Rainey Hospice House. 

Born April 23, 1952, in Hall County, GA, he was a son of the late Ernest Roy Garrett and Mary Etta McFalls Garrett. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Ernestine Garrett; a brother, Gregory Alan Garrett; a granddaughter, Ashley Chambers; and a great granddaughter, Marley Sills. 

Roy had an engaging personality. He loved to be aggravating with a sweet sense of humor. He remodeled houses and was retired from Glen Raven Mills. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, boating, playing guitar, and country music.

 He is survived by his first and only love, his wife Delores Williams Garrett; sons, Roy Lamar Garrett and Chad Alan Garrett; brother, Stephon Garrett; sister, Sheila Arflin; granddaughter, Lacy Garrett; and 4 great grandchildren.  

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 12:30-1:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Sam Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
