May 26, 1936 - August 15, 2005 WILIAMSON, SCMr. Roy Edward Kinsey, Sr., age 69, husband of Elsie Mae Nalley Kinsey of 5101 Highway 29 North, Williamson, SC, died Monday, August 15, 2005 at the Hospice House in Anderson.Born in Calhoun, GA on May 26, 1936, Mr. Kinsey was a son of the late Dennis Fain Kinsey and Bessie Ellen Martin Kinsey. He was a retired brick mason and served in the United States Army.Survivors include his wife, Elsie Mae Nalley Kinsey of the home; sons, Kenneth James Kinsey of Anderson, SC, Roy Edward Kinsey, Jr., of Belton, SC and Dennis Kinsey of Martin, GA; daughters, Wanda Jean Smith of Helen, GA, Kathy Marie Kinsey of Toccoa, GA, Darlene Ann Payne of Williamston, SC, Edna Mae Cordell of Toccoa, GA, Mary Ellen Johnston of Iverness, FL, Donna Louise Kinsey and Elsie Diane Anderson, both of Toccoa, GA; brother, Herbert C. Kinsey of Georgia; sister, Ora Kinsey of Calhoun,GA; thirty eight grandchildren and twenty four great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Candice Martin and Sherrita Cordell and several brothers and sisters.A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service.The family will be at the residence.Flowers are optional.
