Roy McDaniel, 89, of Anderson, SC, loving husband of the late Wanda Joan Barnard McDaniel, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born June 2, 1930 in Atlanta, GA, Roy was a son of the late Otis Leon McDaniel and Ira Lee Bream McDaniel. He proudly served his country in the United States Army serving in the Korean Conflict. He worked for the Belk Department Store as a clerk where he later retired. He was of the Baptist faith. Roy is the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Horace Leon McDaniel, Ed McDaniel and Butch McDaniel. A private committal service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
