Campbell Veterans Nursing Home and formerly of 204 Forest Hill Drive died on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.Born in Hudson, Massachusetts on August 18, 1932, he was a son of the late Everett West and Bernice Piper West. He was a United States Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict.Mr. West was a retired Accountant in Massachusetts and California. He had also worked in retail sales with Dollar General, Inc. retiring in 1994. Survivors include his wife, Doris Blackston West of Lexington, SC; sons, Steven West and his wife, Robin West of Phoenix, AZ and Scott West of Central, SC; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four brothers; and four sisters.In addition to his parents, Mr. West was preceded in death by first wife, Joan Rouillard West; his second wife, Doris Luff West; his daughter, Shelly DiCandia; and two sisters.A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at Greenville Memorial Gardens conducted by the Reverend Dr. Jack Couch.
