BROCK May 29, 1923 - July 26, 2007ANDERSON, SCMrs. Ruby Grace Brock, age 84, of 3321 Keys Street, Anderson, SC, wife of the late Charlie Opal Brock, died Thursday, July 26, 2007 at the Hospice House in Anderson.Born in Gainesville, GA on May 29, 1923, Mrs. Brock was a daughter of the late Luther Pierce and Amy Lucille Giles Pierce. She retired from Orr Lyon Mill with 40 years of service and was a member of Truth Tabernacle in Starr.Survivors include sons, Kenneth Brock of Starr and Charlie Ray Brock of Anderson; daughters, Opaleene Brock and Patricia Boykin, of Starr and Sandra Shirley and Judy Caldwell, of Anderson; brothers, Harrison Pierce and Jim Pierce, of Gainesville, GA; sisters, Mamie 'Sis' Harper and Christine Madden of Anderson. Fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild also survive.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Steve Brock, a daughter, Lisa Brock, a brother, Bud Pierce and sisters, Rhoda P. Williams, Pearlee Hardy and Jessie Mae Farmer.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2007 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Reverends Sam Duncan and Phil Keown officiating.
