OBITUARYMRS. RUBY NASH EVERHARTMay 26, 1920 - February 18, 2007ANDERSON, SCMrs. Ruby Nash Everhart, 86, went home to her Father on Sunday, February 18, 2007, surrounded by her children. Mrs. Everhart was born in Anderson on May 26, 1920 to the late Henry Albert and Leila Brown Nash, and has been a life-long resident of Anderson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Everhart; two daughters; Connie Everhart and Sybil Everhart; one sister, Ruth Martin; four brothers, Hoyt Nash, Harbin Nash, J.B. Nash, and Cotton Nash.Mrs. Everhart is survived by four daughters, Sylvia Mixon, Shirley Wrench, Donna Dennis, and Pamela Jenkins, all of Anderson, SC; one son, Tommy Everhart, of Lawrenceville, GA; eight grandchildren, Cynthia Quinn, Kimberly Mixon, Tracy Mock, Claudia Speed, Savannah Smith, Amy Cruce, Lindsay 'Peaches' Dennis, and Kevin Sammons; sixteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Eleanor Everhart of Lithonia, GA; one brother, Garland Nash of Lawrenceville, GA and many nieces and nephews in several states.Mrs. Everhart was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother; who despite hardships in this life, was best known for her unconditional love. Her genuine selflessness and great sense of humor will be remembered by all.Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at 12:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home Chapel, with the Reverend Henry Nash, of Cross Timbers, MO, officiating. Interment will follow at New Silverbrook Cemetery on E. Shockley Ferry Road. Pallbearers will be Josh Taylor, Marcus Nash, Marty Nash, Melton Nash, Mike Nash, and Robert Nash.The family will receive friends on Monday, February 19, 2007 at The McDougald Funeral Home from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.The family will be at the home of a daughter Shirley Wrench, 107 Summerfield Lane, Anderson, SC.Flowers are optional.
