RUBY COLLIER GARRISON SEPTEMBER 9, 1927 - APRIL 29, 2012 ANDERSON, SC -Ruby Collier Garrison, age 84, wife of the late Robert Charles Garrison, passed away on April 29, 2012 at her home. Born in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Coolidge Collier and Elsie Rigsby Collier. She was a graduate of Scottsville High School in Scottsville Virginia. Mrs. Garrison was a homemaker and was a member of Blue Ridge Baptist Church. Survivors include step-sons, Mike Garrison (Margaret), Dennis Garrison all of Anderson, SC., John Garrison (Brenda) of Iva, SC., Ronnie Garrison (Robin) and Ricky Garrison all of Anderson, SC.; step-daughter, Nancy G. Martin; sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; special friends, Dawana Young and Donnie Fields In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded by a step-son, Jimmy Garrison. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at 4:00 pm at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, with Reverend Richard Busha officiating. The family will receive friends at the Forest Lawn Mausoleum Chapel 30 minutes prior to the service.
