RUBY JEAN 'PUD' GETSINGER April 21, 1929 - August 27, 2007ANDERSON, SCMrs. Ruby Jean Kinard Getsinger, age 78, wife of George Stephenson Getsinger of 700 Hack Street, Anderson, SC, died Monday, August 27, 2007 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.Born in Anderson County, SC on April 21, 1929, Mrs. Getsinger was a daughter of the late Grady Silas Kinard and Essie Lee Lollis Kinard. She was a homemaker and a former employee of The Jewel Shop in downtown Anderson. Mrs. Getsinger was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.Survivors include her husband, George Stephenson Getsinger of the home; a daughter, Melody Tedards and her husband, Ken of Ware Shoals, SC; three grandchildren, Addison Hope Tedards, Jared Michael Hardin and Amber Leigh Hubbard and one great-granddaughter, Alyssa Lauren Hubbard; four sisters, Hazel Stephens, Grace Getsinger, Cecil Sanders and Margie Brock, all of Anderson; A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Reverend Glenn Taylor officiating.
