Greenway, age 80, formerly of Iva, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at the home of her granddaughter in Abbeville.Born in Anderson County, SC on August 23, 1928, Mrs. Greenway was the wife of the late John Willis Greenway and the daughter of the late Lewis Simpson Ashley and Rosa Lee Wiles Woodruff Ashley. She retired from Iva Manufacturing as a supervisor. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Temple and was presently attending Westside Baptist Church in Abbeville.She is survived by son, Kent Greenway and his wife, Sheryl of Iva; daughter, Sue Renfro and George Mann of Abbeville; brother, Max E. Ashley of Iva; sister, Mildred Ashley Graham of Anderson; three grandchildren, Tammy Moore and her husband, Ray Moore, Tricia Wooten and her husband Scott Wooten and Gabriel Lee Adams and his wife, Rhonda Adams. Six great-grandchildren also survive. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by 8 brothers and 3 sisters.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at 3:30pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverends James Blackwell and James Long.
