Mrs. McLane was a retired floral designer having worked for Gable's Florist and Marett's Florist. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.Survivors include her three children: Hubert McLane and wife, Gloria of Anderson, SC, Diane Wheeler and husband, Tharrell of Anderson, SC, and Kathy Dove and husband, Willie of Anderson, SC; sister, Margaret Ramage of Anderson, SC; nine grandchildren: Lisa, Tommy, Kim, Brad, Scott, Brandon, Brent, Matt, and Jacob; twenty-one great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of almost fifty-eight years, Sherman Thomas 'Tommy' McLane; a grandson, John Thomas McLane; sisters: Irene Bray and Pauline Freeman; and brothers: Fred Bray and Curtis Bray.The Funeral Service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, December 28, 2010, at New Prospect Baptist Church conducted by the Dr. Tony Smith, Dr. Glenn Thomason, and Reverend Steve Silvey.
