Ruby Lee Cason Shiflett, age 90, of Anderson, SC, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023, at her home. Born February 13, 1932, in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Henry Summers Cason and Macie Annie Timms Cason. She was married to Robert H. Shiflett until his death in 2015. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Paul Vance Cason and James Henry Cason; and sisters, Gertrude Ford Rowland and Henry Louise Porter. Ruby was a member of Orrville Pentecostal Holiness Church. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Jane Shiflett, Wanda Jean Rhodes and Margaret Ann Shiflett all of Anderson; brother, Bobby Daniel Cason; granddaughter, Wendy Helms (Clay); and great- granddaughter, Collins Emalee Helms. The funeral service will be held Monday, January 30, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Duncan and Rev. Dick Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. A private committal service will be held at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
