Swaney, age 74, of 210 Kirk Lane, Apt. 18, Pendleton, SC, died Monday, March 13, 2006 at her residence.Born in Anderson County, SC on June 20, 1931, Mrs. Swaney was a daughter of the late Perry T. Burns and Estelle Mize Burns. She was retired from the Waffle King in Pendleton and was a member of Fants Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Rodger Dale Swaney and his wife, Jackie of Anderson, SC and Bradley Keith Swaney and his wife, Kimberly of Pendleton, SC; two brothers, Dennis Ellenburg of Portland, OR and Julius T. Ellenburg of Simpsonville, SC; two sisters, Bobbie Jean Rhodes of Pendleton, SC and Jewel Merck of Central, SC and two grandchildren, Paxton Swaney and Peyton Swaney.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Maroney and two brothers, Harold Burns and Eugene Burns.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of LaFrance, officiated by the Rev. Gene Burdette and Rev. Dr. Jimmy Cox.
