Rufus S. Hill Jr. Washington, D.C. Rufus S. Hill, 79, husband of Carolyn W Hill passed away Monday, September 29, 2014 at his residence. Born in Anderson on June 30, 1935, he was the son of the late Rufus S. Hill Sr and Lois Pressly Hill. He graduated from Anderson Boys' High School, Clemson College and Duke University School of Law. He moved to Washington, D.C. in 1960 where he worked for several Federal agencies. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, daughter Barbara K Hill of Silver Spring,Md, son John Justin Hill of New York City, sister Barbara Hill Kelly and her husband Richard Kelly of Yardley, Pa. and several nephews and nieces. A memorial service was held on October 4 in Washington, D.C. Memorials may be sent to the National Parkinson's Foundation.
