NEWHALLDECEMBER 4, 1930 - July 5, 2010ANDERSON, SC ' Russell Sanderson Newhall, age 79, of 311 Simpson Road and formerly of 126 Tanglewood Drive, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2010, at An Med Health Medical Center.Born in Greenfield, Mass., he was a son of the late Charles Nathan Newhall and Jennie Sanderson Newhall. He was a United States Army Veteran and was a retired Mechanical & Electrical Engineer. Mr. Newhall was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Greenville.Survivors include his son, Russell C. Newhall and wife, Margaret, of Anderson, SC; grandson, Ryan Newhall and wife, Dennell, of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Byron H. Newhall of White Plains, NY. He is also survived by Phil, Sandra, & James Bowers.Mr. Newhall was twice married; first to the late Sylvia Chevalier Newhall and secondly to the late Mary Bowers Newhall.A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, July 12, 2010, in The McDougald Family Center.
