Bertha Ruth Taylor Beebe, age 87, of Anderson, SC, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Rainey Hospice House. Born December 18, 1934, in Pickens, SC, she was a daughter of the late Leroy Taylor and Bessie Laura Wright Manley. She was married for 57 years to Loyd M. Beebe until his death in 2007. She formerly worked for the Singer Company. She is survived by her son, L. Bryson Beebe (Mickey); daughter, Peggy B. Haynes (Jack); 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Roy Taylor, Jr., William Bryson Taylor, Jerry Manley, and Bobby Manley; and sisters, Esther Louise Taylor Elgin, Mary Elizabeth Norris and Ann Brown. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 28, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Dr. David Blizzard officiating.
