Drake, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the Nebraska Methodist Hospital in Omaha, NE.Born in Belton, SC on September 13, 1917, Mrs. Drake was a daughter of the late James Campbell and Hastine Smith Campbell. She lived in Miami Florida for over thirty years and worked as a dietician in the school system. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Charles R. Drake and his wife, Sally of Omaha, NE and James O. Drake and his wife, Martha, of Fort Myers, FL; daughter, Connie Buttrill of Atlanta, GA; sister, Lydia Welch of Chattanooga, TN; ten grandchildren, Cindy, Christy Deanna, Angela, Michael, Jim Jr., Deborah, Diane, Jeff and, Michael; eleven great-grandchildren, Kerstin, Nicholas, Ryan, Brandon, Marcus, Chelsea, Bryce, Matt, Brody, Cheyenne and Kellen.In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by three brother and four sisters.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Concord Baptist Church officiated by the Reverend Dr. Don Cox.
