Ruth Clinkscales Frady, age 91, of Anderson, SC, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at her home.

Born August 13, 1932, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lucious Clinkscales and Anna Mabel Blume Clinkscales. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Franklin Frady; children, Shirley Kellett, Annette Moon, Larry Lee Frady, and Dorothy Jean Frady; and brothers, Johnny and Billy.

Ruth retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas after 30 years of faithful service to the company. Among her many interests were camping, fishing, square dancing, word puzzles, game shows, and traveling. She was an avid reader and talented piano player. She loved country music and the Grand Ole Opry. Ruth was a member of The Golden Oldies Traveling Group from Owens Corning and Flat Rock Baptist Church.

She is survived by 8 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Friday, May 3, 2024, at 11:00 am at Flat Rock Cemetery with Rev. Ed Hunsinger officiating.

The family will be at the residence.
