RUTH HALL May 24, 1929 - May 29, 2007ANDERSON, SCMrs. Ruth Elizabeth Fowler Hall, age 78, wife of Clarence H. Hall of 215 Vandiver Street, Anderson, SC, died Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Ellenburg Nursing Center.Born in Anderson, SC on May 24, 1929, Mrs. Hall was a daughter of the late James William Fowler and Addie Gillespie Fowler. She was retired from textiles and had worked in child-care. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church where she was also a day care employee.Survivors include her husband, Clarence H. Hall of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Martha) Smith of Williamston, SC and Mrs. Eugene (Debbie) Rogers of Anderson; brother, Reverend Warren E. Fowler of Gaffney; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, C. Hayward Hall; three brothers, William A. Dobson, Jr., Reverend Olin Dobson and Reverend William Fowler; two sisters, Lula McCollum and Pauline Ivester.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 4:00 pm at Southside Baptist Church with the Reverend Phil McAlister officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
