RUTH MC COLLUM July 26, 1930 - November 22, 2007ANDERSON, SCMrs. Ruth Jordan McCollum, of 22 Sirrine Street, died Thursday, November 22, 2007 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late Augustus M. Jordan and Texie Hancock Jordan. She was retired from textiles and a member of Orrville Pentecostal Holiness Church. Survivors include her sons, Ronald, Troy and Gregory Chappell; daughter, Pamela Brown; sister, Nina M. Jordan; five grandchildren, Ricky Chappell, Jared Chappell, Marcus Hubbard, Sky Morris and Jordan Douglas and two great-grandchildren, Hayden and Alayna Hubbard all of Anderson.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, C. E. Chappell and William H. E. McCollum; daughter, Lido McCollum Douglas; two brothers and two sisters.A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2007 at 3:30 pm at New Silverbrook Cemetery with the Reverend Walter Monroe.
