MORRIS April 2, 1923 - October 23, 2007ANDERSON, SCMrs. Ruth Loretta Pressley Morris, age 84, formerly of Drayton Circle, Anderson, SC, died Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at the NHC HealthCare of Greer.Born in Anderson, SC on April 2, 1923, Mrs. Morris was the daughter of the late Clarence Lewis Pressley, Sr., and Mary Myrtie Taylor Pressley. She was the wife of the late William 'Bill' Campbell Morris. She was retired from Anderson Auto Parts where she was a bookkeeper and accountant for over 40 years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Concord Baptist Church.Survivors include a brother, C. L. Pressley and his wife, Margaret of Greenville; nieces, Cheryl Monk and her husband, Dean of Charleston, SC, Susan Pressley of Greenville, Sharon Foster and her husband, Gary of Greenville, Patsy Lowe of Anderson, Annette Coppage and her husband, Henry of Anderson, Mary Bauer and her husband, George of Charlotte. She is also survived by her great nieces and nephews, Ginny Severs, Zack Strom, Taylor Foster, Hunter Foster and Cindy Snelgrove who were very special to her and several other great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews and special friend of the family Ann Hester of Greenville, SC. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Lewis Pressley and Malcolm Pressley.The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 26, 2007 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Reverends Bob Marcaurelle and Randy Blank officiating. Interment will follow in New Silverbrook Cemetery in Anderson.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 26, 2007 from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm.Flowers are optional.
