Moss of 3717 Highway 24, Anderson, SC, died Monday, May 22, 2006 at the Hospice House in Anderson, SC.Born in Eufaula, AL on October 14, 1939, Mrs. Moss was a daughter of the late George Emory Turpin and Florence Etta Christeen Worley Turpin. She was retired from J. P. Stevens Company, Clemson Plant as a seamstress and was of the Baptist Faith.Survivors include her husband of the home; son, Hugh D. Moss, Jr., of Anderson, SC; daughter, Ruby Ann Moss Lewis of Easley, SC; brothers, Ben Lee Turpin and Paul Brown, both of Anderson, SC and Eugene Brown of Seneca, SC; sisters, Jean Schmitt of Baltimore, MD and Betty Zielke of Blue Ridge, GA and one grandchild, Dallas Alexander Lewis of Easley, SC.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Dean Glazner.
