Ruth Powell Price Anderson, SC Ruth Powell Price, age 90, went to be with the Lord upon her death at Rainey Hospice House on June 9, 2015. Born in Anderson, SC on March 3, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Robert Powell and the late Rosa Lacey Powell Brown. She was a faithful member of Andersonville Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Edward Price (Darlene); three daughters, Jennie Ruth Brock (Wimp), Deborah Jennings, and Brenda Hughes (Jack) ; ten grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great grandchildren; also surviving are two sisters, Imogene Glenn and Theresa Frith. For 74 years, she was the loving and devoted wife to Edward Harold Price, who passed away this past April. She was also predeceased by five siblings. The Graveside Service will be held at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery on Thursday, June 11, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. with Chaplain Jim Frost officiating. The family will be at their respective homes.
