Taylor, and from this union, there were five children, Diane Taylor, Debbie Douglas and her husband Bill, Doug Taylor, Dennis Taylor and Darhyl Taylor and his wife Kathy. There are also six grandchildren: Jason, Joli, Jessica, Jennifer, Josh and Janie Kay; and five beautiful great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kaytee, Alyssa, Thomas and Lila Grace.Ruth was the widow of Walter H. Simpson and had three stepchildren, Bill, Mike and Kathy Simpson and two step-grandchildren, Brad and Eric Simpson. Ruth's pride and joy were her loving and caring children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. To have them all together for Sunday dinner was an every Sunday event, then to the front porch for a wonderful afternoon. Ruth was the daughter of the late J.E. Treadaway and Mary Ann Dooley Treadaway. Only one sister remains, Jenny Fay Lusk.She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Carl Treadaway; two sisters, Kate King and Bonnie Simmons; and a daughter-in-law, Tracy Taylor.Ruth was employed with Southern Bell Telephone Co., The Anderson Telephone Answering Service and Blue Ridge Security. She was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church where she attended the Joy Sunday School Class.The Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Gray and Rev. Bobby Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family will be at the residence, 136 Fields Avenue, Anderson, and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, June 20, 2011. Ruth will be placed in the church at 9:30 AM on Tuesday.Memorials may be made to the Joy Sunday School Class of Mt.
