OBITUARY PHOTOMRS. SALLIE LOUETTA PARISMay 30, 1914 - October 19, 2006ANDERSON, SCMrs. Sallie Louetta Sumner Paris, age 92, of 2805 E. North Ave., wife of the late Lawrence Clayton Paris, died Thursday, October 19, 2006 at the Hospice House.Born in Andrews NC, Mrs. Paris was a daughter of the late Claude Green Sumner and Bessie Ford Sumner. She was a former Nursing Technician at Anderson Memorial Hospital and was a former attendant of the Centerville Washerette. Mrs. Paris was also a member of Emanuel Baptist Church.Survivors include two sons, Cecil Paris and his wife Joyce and Reverend Lawrence Allen Paris and his wife Shirley, all of Anderson; daughters, Joyce Ann Valentine of Williamston, Bess Haney of the home and Vivian Paris Presher of Anderson; sister, Edith Faye Snow of Smithsfield, TN, ten grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William 'Bill' Sumner and Kenneth Sumner and his sister Jessie Mae Kimbrell.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Michael King. Interment will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery in Greer SC at 1:30 pm.The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, October 20, 2006 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday, October 21, 2006 from 10:00 am to 11:00am. The family will be at their respective homes.Flowers are optional.
