Sally Bleckley Geiger Brainerd, age 74, of Anderson, SC, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024.

Born January 2, 1950, in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late Harmon Webb Geiger and Beverly Bailes Geiger. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Geiger.

Sally was a graduate of Clemson University and enjoyed a long career as a registered nurse, retiring from Greenville Memorial Hospital. Her hobbies included embroidery, painting, and gardening. She had a kind, generous spirit and loved animals and caring for others. Her children and grandchildren were the most important people in her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Her family loved her beyond measure and will miss her immensely.

She is survived by her son, Michael Loftis (Tabitha) of Anderson; daughters, Caroline Loftis and Beverly Loftis both of Anderson; sisters, Essie Junkins (Mike) of Anderson and Lynn Parker (Jim) of Greenwood; and grandchildren, Zoe Long, Caroline Hand, and Natalie Hudson all of Anderson.

The family will receive guests on Sunday, July 7, 2024 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. A service honoring Sally will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 11:30 am in funeral home chapel with Rev. Sam Duncan officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park following the service.

The family will be at their respective homes.
