Hunsinger and Martha Hill Hunsinger. She retired from B.J.C. Hospital in Commerce, GA, and was of the Baptist faith.Survivors include her children: Kathy Chatham of Anderson, Shelia Kay Vassar of Anderson, Kim Lamar Vassar of Anderson, and Roger Smith of Seneca; stepson, Mike Vassar of Anderson; sisters: Susan Wheeler of Anderson and Ina Mae Davis of Abbeville; brothers: Reverend Ed Hunsinger of Anderson, Leroy Hunsinger of Anderson, Frank Hunsinger of Seneca, Jerry Hunsinger of Utah, and Willie Hunsinger of Anderson; fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three husbands: Freeman Smith, Wayman Hampton Vassar Sr, and Leroy Hill; three sons: Waymon Hampton Vassar Jr, Tony Lamar Vassar, John Preston Vassar; and a brother, Eugene Hunsinger.The Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Monday, July 11, 2011, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Ed Hunsinger and the Reverend Mike Hunsinger.
