Sarah (Sally) Lynn Lasley, age 62, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Key West, FL on May 24, 1954, she was the daughter of Virginia Sidebotham Courtney (Patrick) and the late Franklin Curtis Dobson. She worked as a Retail Manager. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Donald Lasley; a son, Douglas Curtis Pierce (Katie); daughters, Jessica Pierce (Phillip Harrison) and Jennifer Lasley Charton (Alain); sisters, Sheryl Carruthers, Susan Bolton (Jackie), and Sandee Weaver (Don); grandchildren, Ansley, Avery, Ashton, and Alyssa Pierce, Taylor and Matthew Waller, and Sophia and Simon Charton. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Monday, August 8, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Bob Norris officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2434 Hudson Road #154, Greer, South Carolina, 29650.
