Sammy was an avid hunter and fisherman and a member of Grace Baptist Church.In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his children, Missy Maxner, of Anderson, SC, Chip Maxner of Charleston, SC and Sabrina Duffell of Anderson, SC; grandmother, Mary Brewster Harrington; sister Pam Wilson of Hartwell, GA; eight grandchildren, Christina Adams, Nikki Medlin, Alan Moore, Tristan and Dakota Ferguson, Maranda Lynn-Parke, Jenniffer Barnes and Stephanie Lynn-Gore and four great-grandchildren.He was predeceased by his sister, Debbie Moore.A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 30, 2010, at 11:00 am atForest Lawn Memorial Park officiated by Pastors Gary Bill and Wes Sampson.
