Samuel Alan Yeargin Anderson, SC Samuel Alan Yeargin, age 62, of 130 Julia Circle, died on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at his home. Born in Anderson, he was the son of the late Hugh Yeargin and Rebecca Dixon Yeargin. He was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple where he served several terms as deacon. He was employed at Bi-Lo as Assistant Market Manager. He was preceded in death by his parents and his spouse, Alice Barrilyn Carithers Yeargin. Surviving are sisters and brothers-in-law, Teresa and John Dill of Belton and Edie and Wayne Alewine of Anderson; niece, Jennifer Alewine, of Anderson; nephews, Stephen Owen of Anderson and Joshua Alewine of the US Navy, stationed in Hawaii; great nephews and great niece, Kaden, Kylee and Keagan Carter, of Anderson. Services will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Gethsemane Baptist Temple with Reverend Sam Duncan officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
