SANDRA BUCHANAN January 8, 1942 - February 12, 2007ANDERSON, SCMrs. Sandra Lee Scarborough Buchanan, age 65, of 309 Renee Way, Anderson, SC, wife of the late Tolvin Buchanan, died Monday, February 12, 2007 at the Hospice House in Anderson, SC.Born in Anderson, SC on January 8, 1942, Mrs. Buchanan was a daughter of the late John Coleman Scarborough and Beatrice Brown Scarborough. She was a homemaker and a member of Taylor Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church.Survivors include her son, Fred Buchanan and his wife, Melissa of Pendleton, SC; daughter, Ellen Buchanan Richardson and her husband, Ryan of Anderson, SC; three grandchildren, Trevor Buchanan, Jamie Buchanan and Eryanna Richardson; great-granddaughter, Brianna Buchanan; and brothers, Charles Scarborough of Bowling Green, KY, Carlton Scarborough of Greensboro, NC and Donnie Scarborough of Jacksonville, FL.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Curtis, Grady and Edward Scarborough and a sister, Ellen Ward.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2007 at 3:00 pm at Taylor Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church officiated by the Reverends Brent Lollis and Ray Buchanan. Interment will follow in New Silverbrook Cemetery in Anderson.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 14, 2007.The family will be at the residence.Flowers are optional.
