Sandra Elaine Cook Litten, age 64, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Rainey Hospice House.

Born August 13, 1960, in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late James F. Cook and Mary Lou Mitchell Cook. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jim Cook; and a sister, Susan Fowler.

Sandra was a graduate of McDuffie High School and received Associate Degrees in Office Technology and Certified Medical Assistant, of which she was most proud. She was a faithful member of Covenant Baptist Church for 27 years. Sandra loved crafting, making bows and cards, often using her talents to support local charities. Her family brought her great joy, and she held a special place in her heart for her three grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years Daniel Edward Litten; children Jessica Nutting (Jason) of Travelers Rest, SC, Krista Costner (Jonathan) of Anderson, SC, and Daniel James Litten (Angela) of Anderson, SC; brother, Ray Cook (Lynn) of Anderson, SC; sisters, Connie Zippnich (Al) of LaVernia, TX, Gail Mirsky of Anderson, SC, and Shirley Cook of Anderson, SC; grandchildren, Mason, Nolan, and Juliet; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 11:00 am until noon at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12:30 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Dr. Steve Silvey officiating. Burial will follow at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.

The family will be at the residence.
