Sandra Gail McAlister Vickery, age 68, of Anderson, SC, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022, at her home. Born February 24, 1954, in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Hugh McAlister and Grace Wilbanks McAlister. Sandra enjoyed a 20+ year career at AnMed Health and loved her work family. Faith and family were everything to her. She played and sang faithfully at church throughout her life. Sandra had an engaging personality and loved people; she never met a stranger. She was loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Billy Ray Vickery; son, Billy Grant Vickery (Amanda); daughter, Kristie Leigh Cunningham (Steven); brother, David Shank; and grandchildren, Bryson and Conner Vickery, and Donovan Conwell (Amber). The family will receive friends Sunday, November 6, 2022, from 1:00-3:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3:30 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Dewayne Peeples and Rev. Bradley Saxon officiating.
