Fields, age 73, resident of Morningside Assisted Living, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC on February 7, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Carl C. Cleveland and Bonnie Brown Cleveland. Mrs. Fields was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.She is survived by her sons: Ricky Fields and Tommy Fields, both of Anderson; her brother, Walter L. Cleveland of Anderson; and her sisters: Virginia C. Cheek of Belton, and Doris C. Strickland and husband, William H. Strickland, Jr. of Starr.In addition to her parents, her husband, Larry L. Fields; and her brothers predeceased her: L.W. Cleveland, Carl Cleveland, Jr., and Douglas R. Cleveland.The Funeral Service will be held at 3pm on Saturday, April 25, 2009, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Bob Burriss. Interment will follow in New Silver Brook Cemetery.
