She was formerly employed with Anderson County School District #5 at Westside High School in Food Services, and was a homemaker and a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.Survivors include her son, Bob Garrett and his wife, Sylvia; daughter, Betty Bowen and her husband, Larry, all of Anderson; four grandchildren, Kelly Fredericks of Anderson, Jon D. Bowen of Starr, Amy Branyon of Honea Path and Daniel Garrett of Anderson; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Elizabeth Norris of Honea Path. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by four brothers and four sisters.The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 15, 2008 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Thomas Maxwell.
