Sara Gray Horne, age 86, passed away at her home on Thursday, January 7th, 2016. Born in Anderson, SC on July 12th, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Willie Hicks Gray, and was the wife of the late G. Lamar Horne. She retired from Jackson Mills and was a Christian of the ARP faith. She is survived by her two sons, Andrew Horne (Robin) and John Horne (Tonya); four grandchildren, Nick, Anna Grace, Joni Gray and Libby and one great-grandson Asher, all of Iva. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday, January 10th, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. with Reverend Jerry Gray officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. The families will be at their respective homes.
