Sara Louise Jefferson Anderson, SC Sara Louise Jefferson, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, SC, on March 6, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Grayson Hardy and the late Bessie Brooks Hardy. She retired from True Temper after 23 years of service. Sara was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving children, Randy Jefferson, of Anderson, SC, Nancy L. Ledford and her husband Jim, all of Anderson, SC and Janice Gilreath and her husband Rod, of San Jacinto, CA; a brother, Gene Hardy and his wife Pat, of Anderson, SC; sisters, Mildred Turpin and her husband Lee and Mabel Gibson and her husband Dennis, of Anderson, SC; ten grandchildren, Crystal, Mike, Eric, Whitt, Clay, Jason, Kristy, Timothy, Kimberly, and David; and six great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, who passed away only 5 weeks ago, Charles Foster Jefferson; a sister, Linda Risner; and three brothers, Glenn, Levis and Harold Hardy. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with Reverend Curtis Bundy officiating. Mrs. Jefferson will be placed in the church at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
