Sara Helen Walker Madden, 74, of Anderson, SC, passed away Monday, September 16, 2019 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born December 9, 1944 in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late James Samuel Walker, Sr. and Annie Stastny Walker. Sara was a graduate of TL Hanna High School and was a patient coordinator for Anderson Radiology. She was a member of Taylor Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church. She is survived by her children, Michael Madden (Angie) of Anderson and Melissa King (Ronnie) of Columbia; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Williamson, Olivia Madden, Harley King, Greyson Madden, Liam Madden, Rylee King, and Knox Madden; great-grandchildren, Brantley Williamson, Abel Williamson and Jayce Williamson; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Jimmy Walker; and sisters, Frances Brown, Miriam "Mickie" McCullough and her twin sister, Sandra McCullough. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Friday, September 20, 2019 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be in the chapel Saturday, September 21st at 2:00pm with Rev. Dr. Brent Lollis officiating. The family will be at the home of the son, Michael Madden.
