Sara McMann, age 84, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at her residence.

Born August 29, 1941, in Canton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William Clay Elson and Irene Elizabeth Elson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Eli McMann; daughter, Danielle McMann; and sister, Mary Jane Elson Luck.

Sara was a loving caregiver to her family. She devoted her life to raising her family and caring for her home. She and her late husband, Howard, were missionaries to Australia, Hong Kong, and Vietnam. She was also a member of Bridge of Hope Community Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Christine Griffith (Matthew) of Anderson, SC; sons, Donald "Clay" McMann (Stephanie) of Greenwood, SC, and David Davis (Sarah) of Westminster, SC. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Stephen McMann (Shekinah) of Australia; Joy Schultz (Jacob) of Cross Hill, SC; Faith Mathews (Ben) of Brunswick, GA; Kayla Griffith of Anderson, SC; Anna Kate Griffith of Anderson, SC; and Christopher Davis of Walhalla, SC; and two great-grandchildren, Judah and Eden.

The family will host a Celebration of Life at Bridge of Hope Community Church and will greet guests upon arrival on Saturday, February 7th, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
