Mrs. Sara Hart Pearson, 80, of Honea Path, SC died on Monday, September 7th, 2015 at her residence. She was born to the late Marcus and Verena Kelly Hart on December 19th, 1934 in Anderson County. She retired as a seamstress from Oxford of Belton after 20 plus years and was a wedding cake artist making cakes for many newlyweds over the years. She is survived by her daughter; Sherry Boyter (Phillip) of Lavonia, GA, son; Kevin Pearson (Theresa) of Anderson, grandchildren; Crystal Smith (Mark), Jason Estes (Shanna), Dorie, Caroline, Benjamin and Nicholas Pearson, great-grandchildren; Sarah, Jackson and Grayson Smith: two brothers: Millard Hart of Anderson and Franklin Hart (Ruth) of Honea Path; and one sister: Ethel Mae McCoy of Honea Path. She was preceded in death by her dear husband of over 50 years: Leon Pearson and her parents. A funeral service will be held on Friday September 11th, 2015 at 11:00am at Cross Hill Church of God in Honea Path with the Rev. Larry Richardson officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories in Belton. The Pearson family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm Thursday, September 10th, 2015 at The McDougald Funeral Home in Anderson.
