T. Roberts, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2010 at Willow Creek Nursing Center in Iva.Born in Hall County, GA on October 18, 1911, Mrs. Roberts was the daughter the late James Henry Jarrard and Lou Ella Anderson Jarrard. She retired from Abney and Toxaway Mills and was a member of Orrville Baptist Church. Survivors include her two daughters, Shelby Philyaw and her husband, Laverne and Lou Venturella and her husband, John; son, James Thomas Roberts and special friend, Robin Rosenberg; all of Anderson; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by five brothers and two sisters. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Wendell Bannister. Interment will follow in New Silver Brook Cemetery.The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the funeral on Wednesday.Flowers are optional.
