SARA RUTLEDGE April 15, 1929 - June 8, 2007 PELZER, SCMrs. Sara Macomson Rutledge, age 78 of 40 Lyman Street, Pelzer, SC, wife of the late James F. Rutledge, died Friday, June 08, 2007 at the Hospice House in Anderson.Born in Franklin County, GA on April 15, 1929, Mrs. Rutledge was a daughter of the late Samuel E. Macomson and Maonie Chastain Macomson. She was retired from textiles and attended Shiloh Baptist Church.Survivors include her niece, who was just like a daughter, Sherry Jordan of Williamston; brothers, Edward of Starr, Charles, Jackie, Bill and Bobby Macomson all of Anderson; sisters, Betty Morgan, Hester Pierce Roberts, Patti Masters and Diane Patterson, all of Anderson.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Clara Sue Taylor.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, June 10, 2007 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Reverends Billy Whitfield and Mark Dickson officiating.
