Sara Euratha White, 71, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in Athens, GA. Born February 21, 1944, she was a daughter to the late Roy Glenn Thompson and the late Cleo Montez Hampton Thompson. Sara was a retired certified nursing assistant and was a member of Broadway Lake Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Brian Meierholtz; sisters, Teresa Price (Ron), Sheila White (Lewis), and Debra King (Wayne); 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Marion Eugene White and sisters, Sue Watson and Polly Lyles. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Early Tucker officiating. A private burial will follow at Rocky River Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 5:00pm until 7:00 pm.
