Sarah Evelyn Bishop Walls, age 88, of Tullahoma, TN, departed this life on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Vanderbilt Tennova-Harton Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Walls was born April 26, 1933 in Hartwell, GA, to William Carl Kelley, Sr. and Ruby Lena Walters Kelley. She and her husband, Amos Bishop, resided in Orlando, FL, for several years before his death. She then relocated to Tullahoma in 2005. Later she met and married her late husband, George Walls. She was a member of the First Church of Jesus Christ in Tullahoma. Mrs. Walls loved her Lord and her family and was known to quietly help many people during her life, never wanting any recognition. She will be remembered by her family and friends as always smiling and having a fun time. She was a loving, generous person to everyone she met. She is survived by her nieces, Linda Pierce and Annette Shirley both of Anderson, SC, and Jeannette Brooks (Tommy) and Diane Brooks both of Belton, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Freddie Lynn and Ginnie Lynn of Florida; and special friends and caretakers, Herbert Bradley and Harold Moon both of Tennessee. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, William Carl, Jr., Hubert, and Roy Kelley; and sisters, Leila Shirley and Nancy Sanders. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 28, 2021, from 10:00-11:00 am at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am in the Chapel with Rev. Sam Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery. Social distancing will be observed and masks are recommended.
